Artist Bio
Sasha Gardiner’s passion for photography has been a journey and shaped her life in many ways. From growing up in South East England she went onto study at King University in Tennessee where she earned her Bachelors Degree in April 2022. She discovered her passion for photography on a family vacation in Italy where she instantly became fascinated by documenting the culture differences and forming a connection with the subjects in her photographs. The following year, Sasha began studying photography as well as business for her A-level options at Imberhorne School located in her hometown on the outskirts of London, England. During her A-levels she was drawn to street photography and portraiture taking inspiration from the great Henri Cartier-Bresson.
In August 2018, Sasha moved to America to further her education where she studied Digital, Media, Art, and Design with a minor in Business Administration. During her four years living in America, she found herself spending much of her time experimenting in the photography studio developing her understanding of fashion and product photography.
Sasha’s work has been displayed in multiple art exhibitions, the latest being in 2021 at King University’s Spring Showcase. Her work has been used for marketing by the renowned Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion music festival. During her time covering the festival she worked closely with The Sisterhood Band as well as Andrew Scotchie & The River Rats. Sasha has just completed a product photography exhibition that was showcased at King University in April 2022.
